Experience

Rope can look many ways. A session can be a moving mediation, with the rope creating a variety of sensations to bring you into your body. For others, it’s a means of exploring trust, surrender, and release. For others still, rope is connected to their erotic core. A single session can include moments of introspection and somatic processing, pleasurable pressure sensations akin to massage, and intentional high-intensity sensations. We can explore potentially uncomfortable emotions such as shame, alongside laughter and silliness. Any and all of what you bring to a session is welcome.

A first session lasts 2 to 3 hours and begins with a conversation about your interests, desires, anxieties, and anything else that’s alive for you on the day. We’ll decide together what the session will look like and cover relevant safety considerations. I bring a depth of anatomical knowledge, movement literacy, and trauma-aware methodology to every session. When the rope is off we’ll take time to debrief, discussing anything exciting or surprising that came up.

  • First-time clients
A first session for one person being tied costs $400 and lasts 2.5 to 3 hours. You can do a session solo, or as a couple in which one person gets tied and the other gets the pleasure of bearing witness.

For groups of 2 to 4 people in which more than one person wants to be tied, please reach out to discuss session length and pricing.

    Returning clients
If we’ve worked together before and have developed some familiarity, you can book 2-hour sessions at a reduced price:

    • Single sessions for $240

    • Pack of 3 sessions for $660

    • Pack of 5 sessions for $1000

  • I provide tea, snacks, and a cozy space full of soft things. You’re also welcome to bring a favorite snack and warm layers.

If you’re being tied, wear full coverage underwear or an outfit that allows for movement (think yoga class wear).

  • These sessions are not pro-domme experiences and do not include explicit power exchange or any sort of sexual touch.

Before you book a session, you’ll have a free 20-minute consultation. This allows us to determine mutual alignment before scheduling.

Mutual comfort is essential. I reserve the right to decline sessions that feel misaligned, and I encourage you to do the same.

LEarn

I’m available for private and small group lessons, both in-person and virtually. I’ll support you with proper safety information and good technical skills. And I’ll help you explore the special qualities that draw people to rope, when they could easily find less complicated restraints at the local sex shop or hardware store.

Rope bondage is just as much about the human experience of tying and being tied as it is the final position. It’s a “journey as destination” sort of thing. It’s also frustrating and fiddly and good at robbing newbies of their confidence. I’m here to ease the frustration and fiddling while offering you pathways to play at all levels. The following is a non-exhaustive list of topics we can cover:

For riggers (people who tie)

  • Beginner techniques through transitional suspension

  • Tension and rope handling skills

  • Confidence with improvisation

  • Harness troubleshooting and customization

  • Learning to see anatomy and tie your partner, not a pattern

  • Consults for tying curriculum development

For rope bottoms (people who get tied)

  • Identifying what you want and effective communication with the person tying you

  • Body awareness and differentiating good vs. bad pain

  • Harness troubleshooting and customization

  • Bottom-lead rope experiences

  • Consults for bottoming curriculum development

  • I require a 2-hour minimum for each lesson, with pricing as follows:

    • $100 per hour for individuals and couples

    • $150 per hour for groups of 3 to 4

If you’re traveling a distance and wanting to book a full day or weekend of lessons, I offer discounted rates for lessons running more than 4 hours.

If you don’t have a tying partner, I may be able to arrange for an experienced bottom to join our lesson for an extra fee.

Please be in touch with any questions!

  • If you have your own rope, bring it so we can explore appropriate techniques for the rope you already own. I suggest working with natural fiber rope like jute or hemp.

If you don’t have rope, you can use loaner rope for your lesson. I’ll also have rope available for purchase!
